Not all hooks are created equal. Each style of scan hook label holder offers unique advantages. Take a moment to review these four styles, even if you are currently committed to one in particular. Occasionally another style can offer significant advantages making it worthwhile to trade up to newer label holder technologies. Some holders like Flip Scan® are even backwardly compatible, allowing you to add the advantages of flip up labels to your store and allowing the stocking of a single Flip Scan label holder style that will mount to both Flip Scan® and FISH™ Tip Hooks. Flip Scan® Mount
Inexpensive Flip Scan® label holders mount to any size or gauge hook, eliminating the need for stocking multiple label holders. Label holder is articulated, swings up out of the way as product vends, then automatically falls back into position. Inexpensive plain paper labels drop right into place protected by a long life, UV-protected window. Saves labor and material costs over expensive adhesive label systems. “No window” adhesive label holder version available while transitioning to plain paper labels or when use of pressure sensitive labels remains desirable. Flip Scan label holders attach to traditional FISH™ Tip mounts preserving earlier investments in hook hardware as you transition to newer technology. Compatible with Clear Scan® storewide and shelf edge label holder system for c-channel; flat faced shelves; wire basket/fencing; solid, wood, and glass shelves; freezer/cooler environments, and scan hook. FISH™ Tip Mount
FISH™ Tip label holder types mount to any size or gauge hook, eliminating the need for stocking multiple label holders. Accepts Flip Scan® label holders for drop-in plain-paper and adhesive labels, extruded label holders for drop-in, slide-in, and adhesive labels; and molded label holders for slide-in or adhesive labels. Compatible with all FISH™ Tip equipped hardware elements including basket tags, wall tags, shovel bases, etc. Right Angle Mount
Simple, inexpensive design. Requires different size label holders to mount to different gauge hooks. Accepts drop-in and snap-close label holders for plain-paper labels. Metal Plate Holder
For traditional adhesive labels. Heavy duty construction. Alternate metal plate sizes include:
* Metal Plate #5 is the standard plate used on metal plate scanning hooks shown in the catalog. Other sizes are available. Call for information. Minimums may be required. Note: All of the Metal Plate Scanning Hooks shown on these pages can also have our regular FISH™ Tip welded to the front to accept our plastic label holders or signs. |
