Vonda’s path to head of operations passed through law offices, insurance companies, financials, sales, manufacturing and production. She has helped administer small local firms as well as multi-national corporate offices. She has over 13 years experience in the corporate office of Trion, having trained under the founder himself.
 

An Iowan used to getting her start at sunrise, she often quotes fellow Midwesterner George Hormel saying “Originate and develop distinctive products.” But Vonda has also been seen alone in the deep recesses of the warehouse with raised fist railing “…as God is my witness, they’re not going to lick me!” the sentiments of Scarlett O-Hara in “Gone With the Wind.” Vonda originally majored in Psychology at York College, which may explain her perchance for warehouse Primal Scream Therapy … and her ability to motivate 480 Trion employees, keeping us moving in the same direction.

 

Non-corporate Vonda likes getting back to her farm roots gardening and relishing the outdoors. Rainy days she turns to reading fiction and mysteries. Overarching all she raises two daughters as a single parent, which in any other reality would be a full-time job in itself.
