  1. CNC/EDM Machinist

    Immediate opportunity for a CNC/EDM Machinist in our toolroom. Position involves precision machining of tooling to be used in the production of our display hooks, metal stampings, and plastic extrusions using our horizontal and vertical CNC machines as well as EDM equipment.

     

    Education/Experience: Prior experience in a CNC or EDM machinist position or related technical training that includes machine programming. Must be versed in FANUC and HAAS controls. Preference would be given to those with Esprit programming software.

     

     

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

     

    • Ability to follow departmental procedures
    • Knowledge of general machining processes
    • Programming and machine set-up knowledge
    • Knowledge of safety equipment and procedures
    • Ability to operate manual milling machines, grinders, lathes, and saws
    • Mechanical ability and blueprint reading
    • Organizational skills and strong interaction skills
    • Ability to interact as a team member and work with related departments

     

     

    Essential Duties:

    • Produce parts according to the job specifications and blueprints
    • Must check safety equipment on machinery prior to operation
    • Utilize proper personal protective equipment and adhere to safety regulations required in this area
    • Assist with repairs on CNC mills and EDM machines as required
    • Communicate status of parts being produced and quality control issues to the Tool Room Supervisor and/or Production Supervisors
    • Required to follow and comply with all Company Rules and Regulations within the Employee Handbook

  1. CNC Wire Forming Machine Programmer/Set-Up

    Immediate opportunity for a CNC wire forming machine programmer/set-up person in our production area. Position involves developing programs to produce various wire forms using our CNC wire forming equipment.

     

    Education/Experience: Prior experience programming CNC production equipment, especially involving wire forming.

  1. Regional Sales Manager

    Join Trion’s sales Team as a Regional Sales Manager for the Midwest Market.  Ideally, the sales candidate will be located within an hour of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania with the requirement to travel to the prescribed region approximately 40% of the time.  Candidates residing within the assigned territory will also be considered.  Competitive base salary plus benefits package and bonus.   Since 1965, Trion has been an industry leading manufacturer of retail fixtures.

    Responsibilities:

     

    As a Regional Sales Manager you will be responsible for driving the growth of Trion products throughout your territory.  You will focus primarily on developing new business and supporting prospective and existing customers, identifying their needs, and utilizing our competitive advantages to secure additional business.  Primary target customers include corporate headquarters of regional retailers and point of purchase companies.

    • Develop and secure a pipeline of new opportunities by utilizing various methods such as cold calling, face to face meetings, trade knowledge, and networking.
    • Establish new opportunities by testing products with target customers and assisting in their initial implementation.
    • Attend tradeshows as required.
    • Work closely with your team of Trion sales coordinators and customer service personnel.
    • Build long lasting relationships with customers based on the quality and reliability of our products coupled with your ability to partner with them for mutual success.
    • Maintain expert knowledge of all industry trends and market intelligence.
    • Leverage the internal resources backing up your efforts by maintaining effective daily communication and timely reporting.
    • Actively listen to your customers and resolve any issues.

     

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
    • 5+ years of demonstrated outside sales representative experience; industry experience a plus
    • A proven record of success driving sales
    • Comfortable regularly traveling to meet prospective and established customers (around 40%)
    • Excellent planning, organizational and communication skills
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Oracle and Salesforce a plus.

  1. Design Engineer

    Job Type: Full-Time

     

    Position involves new product and tooling design using Inventor and AutoCAD software as well as maintaining existing engineering data and other varied departmental duties as needed. Experience in product or tooling design desired with preference given to those with knowledge of wire forming, metal stamping, and/or plastic extrusion. Must be willing to assist in completion of factory wide projects as required.

     

    Education/Experience: Minimum of an Associates Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent. Work experience in product design or tooling design a plus.

     

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

    • Ability to follow company and departmental procedures
    • 3-D printing
    • Strong knowledge of Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD software, as well as Microsoft Office suite
    • Capacity to develop expertise of existing company products
    • Knowledge of part and tooling design for wire, metal stamped, or plastic extruded products

    Responsibilities:

    • Create engineering drawings and customer approval drawings for new products/applications and adaptations of existing products
    • Create instruction sheets and engineering updates for products
    • Create renderings or video of new and specialized product applications for internal use and marketing
    • Generate design concepts and prototypes for new products to support early marketing efforts and engineering
    • Create 3-D CAD models for rapid prototyping
    • Conduct product strength testing and document results
    • Provide support to various departments as needed to help complete daily tasks
  1. 3rd Shift Extrusion Set-Up Mechanic

    Job Type: Full-time; Hourly

     

    Hours: Sunday – Thursday, 11pm – 7am

    • Experience in extrusion or machine shop preferred
